Policies

When it comes to ordering parts from Japan, here are some things you should know:
 

  • Items ordered from Japan, whether new or used, are sold on an AS-IS basis, and as such, we CANNOT offer any refunds, replacements, or warranties on these items with the exception of those provided by the original manufacturer*. Many of the items offered for sale from Japan come from third party sellers and merchants and as such, can leave many factors out of our control.

  • Upon placing your order, it can take up to 3 days to process your payment.

  • Items can take up to 3 weeks to arrive at our Japan facility. If the seller has to make the item (such as made-to-order items), or is presently out of stock, and awaiting a shipment from a supplier, this can take up to 3 months. We will inform you if we receive notice that your item will be delayed.

  • Northwest Performance Concepts is NOT responsible for shipping delays on the behalf of the supplier/seller/merchant/etc.

  • Upon leaving our Japan facility, you will receive a tracking number**, which will allow you to check the progress of shipping and/or the location*** of your item until you have received it.

  • Depending on the item you ordered, shipping time can range anywhere from a few days up to 3 months, after leaving our Japan facility.

    • Large items (such as wheels, body kits, racing seats, etc.) will be shipped via "Surface Mail" (Sea) by default, unless you wish to ship via "Express Mail Service" (Air), which would have to be discussed further by email, and will result in additional charges. Understand that not all items may be eligible for EMS shipping, as there are size and weight constraints which have to be met.

    • Smaller items (such as front grille, radio, emblems, etc.) will be shipped via "Express Mail Service" (Air)

  • Northwest Performance Concepts is NOT responsible for shipping damage on the part of third party courier services. Should you receive a damaged item, you are advised to inspect and report damage to the respective courier service in order to receive compensation. Insurance and level of protection may vary between courier services and certain items may not be eligible for full insurance coverage.

 

*Manufacturer warranties are YOUR (the end user's) responsibility.
